JOURNEY to the ANDES and AMAZON. Peru: This photo journal chronicles the highlights of my journey to Peru. It is infused with information about Peru's history, geography, culture and nature. My journey began in the Sacred Valley with visits to Peru's Sacred Valley of the Inca including Chinchero, Urubamba, Moray, Ollantaytambo, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Pisac and Cusco. I then ventured into the Peruvian Amazon following the Marañón, Amazon and Yanayacu rivers to explore and experience the rich culture of the region and the incredible biodiversity of the Amazon Refuge Wildlife Conservation Center, a private jungle reserve. My trip was amazing, and I know this journal will inspire wanderlust travelers to dive into the wonders of Peru. You will find my journal an excellent companion to published Peru travel guides.
